Love the way the shorts

"Love the way the shorts feel. Not too tight, but not loose, either. I wear them primarily for hiking. They're thick enough to wear alone without being transparent and stylish enough to look good. They are true to size, and the waistband keeps them secure. The leg cuffs are really comfortable. My only disappointment is the pockets. None of them can properly hold an iPhone 16 Pro Max without me having to attempt to force it down with both hands. The pockets are really small, while other brands do not have this issue. If the pockets had been bigger, these shorts would have gotten a 5-star rating from me."

Not a viable contender

"I’m 6”2’, 175-180lbs with a 32 inch waist and quads and butt of a cyclist. 40 running miles/week with 4 rides/week, competitive in both disciplines. I’ve worn lots of shorts over my life. Compared to the classics from Brooks and Nike, these are not even close. The waistband and leg openings have a non flexible stitching in them that feels very odd and just doesn’t move with you. The material at first feel is ok, slightly plastic-y. When they get sweaty, or running in the mist or rain the shorts make almost a sloshing noise. Just very odd. I’m thinking most folks appreciate the fun prints and vibe, but in terms of comfort and performance they aren’t it. Pockets are good if you’re using pockets on half tights. Sprints hats are elite, but shorts leave some room for improvement. I’m sure V2 will solve these issues but for now I’m out."
